Sis, Get organized
Running a business solo can get super tough and busy. I literally do everything that is required in my business. I create my own graphics, build my own website (and maintain it), make my own business cards and run my own social media accounts. There is no way I could do all of that without organization. One program that has made my life super easy as a Cosmetologist is Acuity. This program is literally my personal assistant and secretary all in one. My clients are able to take control over their own appointments. This allows me to receive less phone calls when I’m working, or on personal time. I am also able to offer coupon codes and discounts all from this site. It’s soooo much this site has to offer your business. Register your business for Acuity by clicking here. If you need assistance with setting it up schedule a 1 hour walk thru with me by clicking here.
Make it pretty
When branding, we want out information to be appealing to the eye. Think about the accounts and sites that you follow. What attracts you to them? Use this same information when running your business. Create something that speaks to your business, however, make it visually appealing for your audience. One app that I use (almost on a daily basis) to do this, is Canva. This program also has a mobile app that makes creating content on the go a breeze. My Create with Canva course will be available June 15th. Pre-Register for the course by clicking HERE. The course will teach you everything you need to know about creating content with Canva.
Plan it out
Let’s be real. No one has time to be on social media all day posting content. If you’re like me, social media could easily take up several hours out of my day (that could otherwise be productive). I have found if I schedule out my posts, this will allow me to stay off of social media more. Usually, after I post content, I end up scrolling other’s people’s pages and before I know it, it’s 3 hours later. LOL. Using the program/app Planoly, I’m able to schedule my content to post both to Instagram and Facebook. Check them out.
Let me know if you use these programs/apps and if they help to benefit your business.
